Medicinal, cooked agave and oak on the nose. Cinnamon, whisky, butter in the mouth. Barrel spice, carmel, smokey, artificial sweetener in the finish. This is a good bargain option.

Sharp edged and not very tasteful. Only good to put in a mix cocktail but then There are others that are much better then this.

Could or Should I say should be cheaper

Strange note in the aroma. Something sort of "burnt" in the flavor. For me, this one was better on the rocks (one large cube). Probably won't repurchase.

All of my favorite flavors in much more expensive tequilas are present here, just in a rough around the edges way. Aged in bourbon and French, I wish it was all French. Probably what keeps this from being immaculate at 34 bucks for a 1.75.

Agave, whiskey, and oak present. I can’t describe it but this is a “beachy” tequila to me...a great one on a Mexican beach. Medium finish, mild pepper and burn. Love this one!

Very buttery agave notes with slight hints of vanilla and caramel. In the mouth is very much rich cooked agave with notes of salted caramel running down both sides of the tongue, and a lasting burn on the end. A great sipper as well as mixer for the cash, more than likely will always be my go to on a budget.

Sometimes I just want a harsher tequila than my usual sippers. This delivers that experience but still has a hint of higher class notes. Very alcohol forward on the nose and tongue. Agave, oak and spice up front. I prefer this one with a big ice cube to help bring out the more subtle notes of caramel, cinnamon and vanilla. The alcohol lingers long. It is what it is and you'll love it or hate it. It would be good for a margarita I'm sure.

A “mid shelf” bottle for sure, that is an acquired taste. The flavors are all simple as the nose and body and finish stay about the same. The agave really stays present, and the citrusy and earthy flavors you smell also hot the palate first, alongside the finish. For around $30 you get a good tequila that can be enjoyed neat, or with an ice cube or two if it’s to harsh. That dilutes the flavor but for some will make it enjoyable.

Really harsh taste and finish. Wouldn’t buy it.

Somehow barrelling average tequila can make it worse, who knew?!?

Good Agave flavour, well worth the price. A good enjoyable finish that remains on the palate.

Decent for mixed drinks, strong aroma, burn on palette, not a smooth finish. Flavor profile ok. I use this as a base for my jalepeno infusion

Had a heavy unpleasant flavor, not for me.

Alcohol forward, oak and agave good, alcohol everywhere. A bit harsh. No tricky business though. Once you get a few in you you won't mind as much.

It used to be OK, not particularly good, not too bad. It has changed and/or I have changed - it is no longer good, it is bad . . . IMHO

Have become more and more a fan of reposados in general, but nothing special here... nose is average, taste meh, finish run of the mill.. nothing bad here but nothing impressive

Good for mixing but you can find better at this price range for sipping. Decent aroma with some burn on the finish.

For the price this is a great tequila. Excellent for mixing. A bit more of a burn for my likings while drinking straight but it's full of flavour and aroma. I've had better reposados but for the price I can safely recommend this, especially for mixing up great margaritas.

A bit sweet from agave but nice caramel notes.

I really just bought it for my bottle collection. Not what I would call a good tequila.

This is our go to tequila. It is the right balance of flavor and value. This was our favorite until we recently re-tried Cabo Wabo, but that is much more expensive.

Review #98 - 1800 Tequila Reposado

I'll just be honest right off the bat. 1800 might be my least favorite brand of 100% agave tequila. This is a mixing tequila at best.
