Abandonado Silver is an enjoyable supper that is sweet and smooth with a light hint of alcohol on the finish. It tastes citrusy with agave and a touch of earthy tones. It’s smell has a noticeable citrus with agave.

NOM 1502 | Smooth for a Blanco. Very peppery. Slight citrus. Good for tequila sunrise!

Smooth and somewhat sweet. You really feel like you are tasting the agave nectar. Starts smooth and finishes the same way. No pepper taste if that is what you like.

NOM 1466 | I bought this bottle on a shopping spree several years ago. I realized I hadn’t rated it yet, and since it is about to leave my house, I am throwing out a rating. I bought this on a recommendation which I think was well intended, but in retrospect I wonder if someone wasn’t just trying to clear slow moving inventory. This tequila has a very uncharacteristic aftertaste that reminds me an aspiring young concert pianist practicing Rachmaninov for hours on end.

NOM 1466 | Nice find at Specs in Houston. Sales guy recommended this and said if I like Don Julio I would like this too. Very smooth with a nice aroma too.

NOM 1466 | Robust blanco, sweet aroma and sweet initial flavor of agave, fruit and lemongrass. A little bite on the finish.

This tequila is VERY sweet. It is smooth going down, very little burn and no astringent aftertaste. But, if you like tequilas like casa amigos, Forteleza, or tequila cabeza, this is not for you. I would not buy again simply because it is to sweet for my taste.

Alfonso, who's drunk every single tequila at Spec's, was right... this is a very nice tequila to drink. Liquid caramel goodness.

This tequila is extremely sweet. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I was turned off by it. This is the sweetest tequila I've ever had; I would much sooner recommend one of the aged tequilas from Abandonado.

A very sweet tequila that goes down smooth. Not a single burn felt. Very delicious.
