Buttery aroma with dirt/earth and agave also prevalent. A distinct aroma of rubber is also noticeable. The earth and agave are upfront in the flavor followed by some peppery spice and mint. From start to finish, the flavor is distinctly bitter. Finish is relatively short. Not quite sure what to make of this one. In a word I guess I would say unbalanced. Some characteristics of an enjoyable blanco are there but offset by the rubber in the aroma (I should note that the rubber aroma fades after ~5 minutes in the glass), the bitter flavor and short finish. 8/15/2015

Got a slight whiff of rubber off the bottle but opened up to a nice agave aroma in my glass. Nice oily feel. The marketing calls the flavor "bright & elegant" and I would agree. Then the spice presents on the sides, mid mouth, moderate length. Nice finish. Good value!

Review #147 - PaQui Tequila Silver

After not really caring for this tequila, I decided to let it breathe and give it another shot. While it's not my favorite tequila, I'm glad I gave it a second chance.

PaQuí Silvera is packed with flavor and poised for success in a crowded tequila market

One of the newer luxury tequilas on the increasingly crowded scene of agave spirits is PaQuí Tequila, which debuted in the US earlier this fall.
