The oak softens the aftertaste some but I’m still not catching any of the flavours I value in tequila.
Nose: Some caramel, but with an accompanying odd note to the caramel. Some traces of the astringent note that I found in the blanco. Just a strange stale undertone. Flavor has a bitter cloying sweetness.
Got better by third sip as it aired....prefer the blanco!
Very pale in color this reposado is quite spicy both in the mouth and after swallowing. I like this in small doses, but prefer a different profile for a daily sipper.
Aroma of agave, pepper and alcohol Flavors of agave and spice overwhelmed by the ever present alcohol. I wanted to like this one, but it did not work for me.
Tolerable. Won't be stocking it at home. Wouldn't feel bad throwing a lime or ice in it.
Slight aroma of dirt but strong smell of rubber/plastic is not good. Flavor is peppery but thin and I pick up that plastic/rubbery aroma in the flavor. Finish is short and sweet...literally.
A little bit like dishwater. Maybe the glass??
Chicks Dig it! Easy to drink....Cool Cobalt Bottle
It’s not that bad in how people describe it I would totally recommend buying it from Mexico it has such a smoother taste than here in the US.
Just a little to “earthy” for me. Not a bad tequila, just not my finish preference.
Nose muted Not a lot of agave +++acid Green banana
On the nose: Alcohol overpowers the roasted agave, oak, vanilla, and pepper. Subtle carmel, smoke, and honey notes. On the palate: Bold and zippy on the tongue, softens to allow the agave, pepper, carmel and vanilla to come through. A bit bitter on the finish. Not a well balanced tequila. Definitely a bold bite tequila,
Caramel and cherry-like scent
Wasn’t particularly smooth. Flavors of citrus and mint are so muted they’re almost undetectable, requiring a glencairn glass to coax out. I don’t get the hype for this. Honestly feels barely above a well tequila.
This tequila separates the men from the boys. Love it or hate it you will taste the truth for yourself. All jokes aside this tequila does have a nice burn and aftertaste. Notes of vanilla, buttery and flavor like many rested tequilas. As a reposado it is smooth but not surprisingly. It is a great tequila for your shelf whether it be a mixer or for shots. A fanciful tequila it is not, this is a reposado at its most basic and refined and in an environment of extraordinary tequilas that both baffle and horrify the senses you will be pleasantly satisfied and satiated with this dependable and delicious tequila.
This is a budget tequila, and taste like one. Still more respectable than most budget tequila. The taste, and smell are about the same, reminds me of a well shot. Tasted almost like mixed liquors. If you need to bring something to a party, and you’re on a budget it could be your go to, but I think there’s better options out there.
$8 at a restaurant for a double shot
This feels like catching a European uppercut with a wet sock in the mouth... Alcoholic nose with a musty nothingness undertone.
I like this repo, not sure why it is receiving such low reviews. Great value. Bought a 1.75 bottle for $49.99 in NH, high marks for value. Well made, nice flavor profile
Not the worst by far but better can be had for the price. I remember this being much better a couple years ago. Little spicy sweetness and little freshness and citrus. Nose is a bit off putting. Will not recommend, drink or buy again.
My current favorite. There's nothing to dislike about this. Even the bottle is badass!
Buen tequila, con sabor intenso y buen definido.
Little hint of agave on the nose but hard to detect anything else. Smooth for the price doesn’t seem to have any fake flavors. One of my go to tequilas for making fresh margaritas.

One of the first tequilas I reviewed. Smoke, agave, and alcohol are the staple on this nose and flavor tequila
