I remember liking this tequila when I first got started with the spirit. Then I learned that I didn’t really enjoy sweetened tequila, so I stopped drinking it in favor of artisan small batch non-sweetened products. Just tried it again, and sorry, it’s too sweet for me now.

Tasted blind: Agave, vanilla and caramel nose and taste. A bit too sweet for my taste. Medium to oily body with a spice and wood finish. Tasted next to Karma Reposado. I preferred the Karma and it is half the price.

This is a smooth drinker. I could drink it all the time if I could afford to.

When you drink this beside the NOMs that you know are additive free it becomes very apparent that something way different is going on here. Unfortunately it likely involves chemistry

Not a good example of a traditional tequila. The flavor is rich in sweetness and vanilla, unfortunately from additives.

my favourite - smooth, clean, caramel finish.

This has is clearly manipulated with additives, but it's still nice to drink. The nose has a ton of vanilla The palate is more vanilla, oak, butter and tons of sweetness. The finish is long lasting with caramel, and butter.

For me like a sweet JD sort of drink- it doesn't have the tequila characteristics I'm looking for, it's pleasant enough and the finish is nice but is too bland as a generic alcohol.

Lovely hints of sea salt, caramel, and vanilla bean. Smooth finish that goes does easy. Only a little warmth.

I loved sipping this tequila. I found very different notes at the tip, mid palette and finish. The transitions were smooth but well defined. Very enjoyable. Definitely a special occasion choice.

On the nose I pickup a nice caramel scent while I taste a mild agave fruitiness followed by a strong vanilla flavor, and that is the problem. The vanilla is both artificially strong and overly sweet and overpowers the agave. The flavors are nice for a tequila with additives, but I have to dock points due to the strong artificial flavors.

Vanilla cream soda Very good...significantly overpriced... clearly your paying for the hand crafted bottles

Way too much fake sweetness. I completely understand why people might like this, especially if you’re not into traditional stuff. But the fake sweetness is way too much. Worst finish/aftertaste of any tequila I’ve ever had. There is no finish actually and it left a really weird Splenda/Sweet n Low aftertaste. Needless to say, the price is ridiculous. Looks cool on the shelf though...

a sweet(caramel/vanilla) tasting tequila. very similar to don julio 1942. this tequila is now hyped up, making the prices to go up.

On the aroma of this premium tequila we smelled chocolate, oak / wood, and maple. The flavor was peppery if you hold in your palette, but smooth once you release its and no need of a chaser. We compared the finish to Don Julio Blanco for worse case scenario on a shot and the finish was amazingly smooth. We would drink again. We would definitely drink this again. I paid $160 for this bottle. It was over priced. But I wanted to have it. Cheers my friend by Steven & Gio!

Aroma, flavor and finish are far from what a great tequila strives for. Unnatural across the board. Ridiculously high price for liquid filth

Lots of caramel and oak on the aroma. Lots more caramel and even cream soda in the taste. Finish is light and short. Aroma best part. It is very (suspiciously) sweet. Not much agave.

No burn up-front nor after burn. honestly it taste exactly like Don Julio 1942 just sweeter in my opinion alot sweeter. taste like vanilla and butterscotch, very creamy. No agave taste what's so ever. Almost cream soda like. not bad maybe over priced, but I've read half the price is for the actual bottle which is very nicely made.

NOM 1416. I really want to try the new NOM as I wasn't impressed with this one. I got heaps of cinnamon and I don't like cinnamon. Its quality stuff but not even close to being worth well over a hundred bucks a bottle.
