NOM 1595 - Very unique and out of the ordinary tequila. Strong aromas of caramel, vanilla, cream soda. Flavors abound on the sweet side with vanilla and caramel bring heavy hitters. Finish is sweet with a hint of pepper leaving long silky legs behind. Price is steep perhaps because of the artesanal bottle included in the purchase. .

I remember liking this tequila when I first got started with the spirit. Then I learned that I didn’t really enjoy sweetened tequila, so I stopped drinking it in favor of artisan small batch non-sweetened products. Just tried it again, and sorry, it’s too sweet for me now.

Tasted blind: Agave, vanilla and caramel nose and taste. A bit too sweet for my taste. Medium to oily body with a spice and wood finish. Tasted next to Karma Reposado. I preferred the Karma and it is half the price.

Cinnamon with a odd coating finish. Brown sugar finish. This is the Fireball of tequila. Fake. Only the rookies are loving this. I encourage you to develop flavor profiles and experiences. This is not real tequila. Spend your money and grow. Three bottles to learn with versus this over priced imposter. Grow and enjoy.

Cake batter...hmm...seems odd, Vanilla Sweet bread Carmel...hmm where is the agave. You know, if I want a tequila based cocktail I’ll ask my bartender to mix in additives. Don’t get me wrong Clase Azul smells and tastes good and if you don’t care about additives great. It just doesn’t taste like a masterfully crafted tequila.

Tasted like a 20$ tequila with brown sugar added to make it smooth. Smelled nice but tasted artificial. Complete rip-off for a fancy bottle.

Not a vanilla fan and this is one of those. As far as the vanilla ones go, this is one of the better ones. Just not a big fan.

When you drink this beside the NOMs that you know are additive free it becomes very apparent that something way different is going on here. Unfortunately it likely involves chemistry

Not a good example of a traditional tequila. The flavor is rich in sweetness and vanilla, unfortunately from additives.

This has is clearly manipulated with additives, but it's still nice to drink. The nose has a ton of vanilla The palate is more vanilla, oak, butter and tons of sweetness. The finish is long lasting with caramel, and butter.

For me like a sweet JD sort of drink- it doesn't have the tequila characteristics I'm looking for, it's pleasant enough and the finish is nice but is too bland as a generic alcohol.

Lovely hints of sea salt, caramel, and vanilla bean. Smooth finish that goes does easy. Only a little warmth.
