I remember liking this tequila when I first got started with the spirit. Then I learned that I didn’t really enjoy sweetened tequila, so I stopped drinking it in favor of artisan small batch non-sweetened products. Just tried it again, and sorry, it’s too sweet for me now.

Tasted blind: Agave, vanilla and caramel nose and taste. A bit too sweet for my taste. Medium to oily body with a spice and wood finish. Tasted next to Karma Reposado. I preferred the Karma and it is half the price.

a sweet(caramel/vanilla) tasting tequila. very similar to don julio 1942. this tequila is now hyped up, making the prices to go up.

Aroma, flavor and finish are far from what a great tequila strives for. Unnatural across the board. Ridiculously high price for liquid filth

Nutty with carmel notes! very smooth on the pallet no burn going down.

Lots of caramel and oak on the aroma. Lots more caramel and even cream soda in the taste. Finish is light and short. Aroma best part. It is very (suspiciously) sweet. Not much agave.

No burn up-front nor after burn. honestly it taste exactly like Don Julio 1942 just sweeter in my opinion alot sweeter. taste like vanilla and butterscotch, very creamy. No agave taste what's so ever. Almost cream soda like. not bad maybe over priced, but I've read half the price is for the actual bottle which is very nicely made.

NOM 1416. I really want to try the new NOM as I wasn't impressed with this one. I got heaps of cinnamon and I don't like cinnamon. Its quality stuff but not even close to being worth well over a hundred bucks a bottle.

If you like the more vanilla-forward tequilas, this is one of the better ones

How do you rate the price value of a higher end Artisan tequila? I've never had buyer's remorse...

Very nice tequila! Expensive yes, but the bottle alone is probably worth 40 or 50 bucks! The Tequila is very smooth with vanilla and caramel notes, and no harsh afterburn! I love the bottle it takes two weeks to craft one! Sip it neat at room temperature. Love it!

I don’t usually drink reposado. However, this came highly recommended and someone described it as pancake syrup. I could smell the sweetness.

Extremely smooth. Vanilla on the front, finishes easy.

I can see why this tequila is polarizing. It has an artificial vanilla taste which is not unpleasant but it clearly overshadows the agave. I do like this but the price point makes it a difficult purchase when there are better options at lower price points.

I was excited to finally try this... not sure if I got a bad lot but it has a weird medicinal, chemically taste, not clean at all... I have $40 bottles that outclass this. I will not buy again.

Just a little bit sweet, Fruity Smooth from Front to Back. I'm missing a little of the Agave taste which I enjoy. A little Vanilla scent and taste.

hands down my favorite sipping tequila.

Easily sipped tequila, but the sweetness and notes of vanilla and caramel overpower it and mask the cooked agave flavor that makes tequila so delicious.
