I first smell dense butter cooked agave and earthy minerals but it’s not a heavy scent. It’s lightened up with bright citrus notes of lemon and lime zest. There’s some alcohol vapors and some salinity. I also get some hints of mangos and ripe banana. It’s cooked agave and petrichor with a hint of sweetness. On the palate there is a pleasant density that I enjoy. The cooked agave flavor is prominent and very forward. The citrus zest is spicy with hints of sweet peppers. The warm cinnamon starts building on the mid palate and carries into the finish. There’s some agave sweetness that starts from the moment the tequila hits your lips and it too carries into the finish. That density starts as cooked agave and then gets earthy before becoming spicy all while having a slightly sweet note running through it.
