I’m not a huge tequila connoisseur, but I’ve tried most of the top brands. I remember exactly when and where I tried Patsch for the first time, which doesn’t happen often. It’s without a doubt a premium brand. It’s also organic and additive free.

So I walked into my local liquor store and saw a lovely lady doing a tasting ok this- the bottle really caught my eye, so I thought to myself, let me give this a try. I did not expect what happened next—- this was out if this world. I put this on my top 3 extra Anejo tequilas out there. I got to taste the reposado and anejo as well, and Omg- they were all delicious. It has an amazing golden honey color, with an aroma that invites you in with its cooked agave, and cherry like nose. The tequila has structure on the palate, and opens your taste buds to a butterscotch/apricot ish taste profile, with an extremely long finish. I can’t say enough about it. Amazing. Thank you to the producers.

Probably the best extra Añejo I ever had. Huge fan of 1480 as the sugar content in their agave is off the charts due to harvesting at 30-31 Brix. I heard from a good friend that Don Montes Boasts this as the best tequila they ever produced.

LOTE06EXPA Color: dark yellow, light brown. Nose: starts with a strong unnatural wood combined with acetone aroma, 15 minutes in the glass, the acetone dissipates and becomes very mineral, wood + vanilla. Palate: sweetness of vanilla, wood spiciness, very light cooked agave, through nostrils I can sense slight metallic aroma. Finish is medium to long, the vanilla and wood extract aroma persists.
