Agave forward this has bit of a medicinal nose but once sipped this full of agave notes. Very “bright” in the mouth this has a natural sweetness and a nice medium length finish. Thanks Tom Hendry

Almost pungent smell on the nose. The palate is soft with agave and minimal heat. The finish is decent. Solid for a 1L sipper.

This is a sleeper. Has the matalitic funkiness on the nose. Taste opens up to a major sweetness of a sugary spearmint gum, little orange peel This is surprising me.

Some cooked agave but more raw agave on the nose….herbal vegetal with some citrus. Orange peel flavor with spearmint with a bite and a long finish…. Not overly complex. Nice affordable sipper, probably would be good in a cocktail.

Perhaps the best bang for buck additive free supper and mixer on the market. 1L for $20. Stands alongside Arette and Cimarron with a slight edge

$30 for this additive free tequila is a bargain. Not complex, but solid!

Considering it's 1L for under $25, it's quite pleasant and very sippable. Overall lacking complexity in all areas but still hard to beat for the price and it's additive free.

My new mixing tequila for parties. There’s enough cooked agave and balance with the alcohol that you can sip it. And at $24 for a liter, this is a huge bargain (compared to Cimarron, Tres Agaves, Olmeca Altos). Unfortunately this tequila is hard to find in SoCal. I have seen the sister brand Tanteo in many grocery stores, so hopefully Espero can find its way into the mainstream market. Curious to try Espero and see how they compare.
