Aromas of wet earth, mint, hay, slight olive, and definitely a touch of wine grapes from 29 days spent in Bordeaux barrels, but the Cascahuin blanco elements are what shine. Sweet cooked agave in the mouth with a touch of black pepper in the back, and medium oiliness. No real finish, but this one sure is easy to drink!

I guess a tequila can be both simple and complex at the same time. This is a totally different flavor profile for Cascahuin, which has just been on a roll with great releases. This one has a lot of agave, fruit, grapes (from the wine casks it rested in), some butter and hay in the back, but lots of natural sweetness to make it delicious. The finish is short and clean (“smooth!”) which makes this insanely easy to drink. It has a slightly dry finish and lingering mouthfeel. I’m going to buy a case of this if I can!
