I’ve had this plenty over the past few years. It’s the well tequila at one of my favorite bars, Cinco in Westchester, CA. Being a regular, we do get shots on the house every now and then of Angelisco and I do actually order it from time to time in a classic margarita or on the big rock. It’s tasty, lots of flavor and completely additive free. It’s a very solid, well made highlands tequila(made in Arandas, Jalisco). It’s $35-$42 in-store which puts it in a tough spot when G4, Fortaleza and 7 Leguas are in the same price range, in So Cal at least, but I’ve purchased it a few times to support the brand as I consider one of the owners a good friend. I’d recommend it if you see it at a bar, you won’t be disappointed. Great in cocktails.

not remarkable but very far from terrible. Little aroma, muted agave flavor yet still a tasty solid tequila. I think of this as a good warmup or intro to someone whom isn’t familiar with different tequilas or will know what to do with that high proof you desperately want to share with them. Would drink again and use for a cocktail.

The nose is very salty and briny, along with notes of roasted agave. Further in I can detect black pepper and bits of floral and herbal qualities. There is also a hint of fruit that reminds me of plums. The flavor follows the aroma perfectly, and adds a touch of coconut into the mix as well. The finish is more salt and some mild spice. I really enjoyed the saltiness, but it could be too much for some people if salt isn't their thing.
