Extremely short finish

Alcohol on the nose. Agave, pepper, anise, and vegetal flavors. Tastes better than it smells.

Nice and light…. Agave and pepper upfront on taste with some vegetal and light bit of citrus. Very nice

Flavor and finish come through nicely but I don't love it. I've tried it many times hoping to come around. Has steep competition being in the $50 range but glad I tried it as you can't go wrong with a Tahona made product.

I really like this Tahona version of her blanco. Great citrus notes over cooked agave, showing more balance than I expected. Delicious!

Bright and floral nose, a post-rain earthiness vibe with a touch of citrus. Medium body, nice legs on the glass. Immediately get cooked agave with a touch of banana, moving quickly to pepper and a satisfying heat on the roof of the mouth. Relatively brief finish, but there is complexity hanging around much longer. A commendable pour.

Black licorice, fresh cut grass, honey

Really great nose, not roasted agave but some earthy notes that make me wanna dive in and try. This distillery has a house style of nutty flavour that I’m guessing comes from the yeast, I definitely want more agave present but it’s nice enough to sip on.

Aroma: Round, roasted, caramelized, brown sugary agave. Peach, licorice and a slight citrus note. Spicy with a perfume/floral element. Flavor: Huge agave flavor here, with complex richness. Oily. Pleasing cinnamon, cloves, anise, vanilla meld. Pepper pulling up the rear. Longish finish with some heat and licorice.

Wonderful aroma, grassy and just a hint of ripe citrus. Finish is ok, slightly astringent, but not a deal breaker.

Quite herbal in smell with some fennel notes. Quite spicy on entry with a really nice mouth feel. Some of the fennel is there in the mouth as well as great agave presence. A quick fade of flavors resolve to some prolonged tongue buzz from alcohol. Pretty good stuff.

Nice to see this tahona-made product entering the marketplace. Another win for legitimate artisanal tequila! This has a nice grassy herbal aroma with some anise. Nice oily mouth feel, and a shorty but slightly spicy finish.

Had the San Maria’s Tahona in Cost Rica. This was the only good tequila available for purchase at the Liberia Airport. It got the job done, beat the hell out of what was available at the resort. I felt like everyone was just a little short from being a great tequila. Thin mouthfeel and short finish.

Peppery cooked agave, herbal and citrus Strong notes and hits hard!

Floral and fruit on nose. Touch of sweetness and minty on taste with more alcohol coming through than I would have liked. Good value for a Tahona based on today's prices but lacking depth.

Agave, pepper, floral, alcohol, I had this on my favorites for a while and bought it for myself for my birthday. Very clean tasting I’m glad to have finally tried it

Floral nose, elements of vanilla, fresh grape skin and marshmallow in the palate. Very tasty.

Clean crisp aromas of cooked agave, anise, citrus and green vegetables. The flavors of cooked agave, and black pepper come through underneath the dominate anise citrus notes. Finishes smooth with hints hints of pear and white pepper and fruit.

Light floral scent, smooth agave oak flavor. Biting finish

wine after taste. Totally not El Tesoro tequila... Blanco Tequila needs to be left alone..Stop messing with it..

Lote: L310517T1 bottled on sep’17. Nose is kind of bland, dominated by minerality and little herbaceous aromas and light sweet cooked agave. On the palate at the beginning a sensation of barnyard that should have been smelled rather than tasted could be perceived but goes away quickly, good sweet & sour balance, the finish is medium to long and the sweet cooked agave persists with a touch of pepper spiciness.
