Tried to like this but it's a no go for me. OK I didn't really try to like it. Medicinal nose and a nasty aftertaste typical of diffuser product.

Wow! pricey and flavor doesn't match the nose... I get sugary something with no agave or any sign of aging... bland and just awful... sorry, not sorry.

Blind taste - chemical ?

Hmmmm I dunno where to begin.....I suppose the most important thing is that this doesn’t taste anything like agave.....that’s a pretty big hurdle to overcome. With that behind us this juice isn’t all bad, extremely herbal & minty with a gentle aftertaste. This is waaaaaayyyyyy too expensive!!!

Nose: Floral, some citrus and tutti-frutti. I detect no agave. Flavor: Fake fruit, lacquer and bitter notes. A cloying saccharine taste lingers. Full disclosure: I bought this bottle 4-5 years ago because it was on Oprah’s Best List. Oh my...... The pits!

No thank you. Made with an industrial diffuser. Medicinal, smells like chemicals. Great bottle, but seriously overpriced.

Had the chance to try this at a cantina I go to. The bartender bought it for a Bay Area couple that comes up. This is the worst tequila I’ve ever had( Jose Cuervo and hornitos excluded). The price point is INSANE you guys realize you’re sipping a 300+$ bottle of diffused crap

The price is the single biggest factor negatively effecting my score. Loved the tequila, loved the vanilla flavors and floral notes but at $315 it is not as good as other tequilas in that price range

Too much money for the taste, found many blancos with way more subtle tones for a tenth of the price, pure marketing.

Distinct agave aroma with fruit and floral notes. Immediate flavor of mint and anise that evolves to warm, cooked agave. The finish is long and smooth. A nice sipper but at this price point there are many others equal to or better. You can enjoy 5-10 of them for the price of one bottle of Casa Dragones.

The aroma has a strong smell of citrus with hints of agave and mint. The flavor goes along with the aroma and has a strong citrus flavor followed by a minty finish. The finish is nice and smooth. This is an all around good tequila except for one thing... The price tag. It's something I'd be more than happy to drink as a gift but not something I'm going to buy.

Incredibly smooth and complex. Very floral. Could sip this all day with my Khaleesi...

Finally! Casa Dragones by the glass! It's worth the hype; complex, smooth as a baby's butt without compromising the agave flavors and without a syrupy finish that defines most smoother blancos.

Recently went to their tasting room in San Miguel. Such a stunning tequila, you can taste the craftsmanship in every sip. The bottle is gorgeous.

Lote número 02 MX. Bottled on 20.10.2009. Marbete is from 2008. 35% abv. Aroma: raw agave, grassy, earthy, slightly briny, ethanol. Palate: green, grassy, raw agave, almost no sweetness, really soft mouthfeel but it has a light ethanol flavor that is present all the time. It has a light soapy flavor and aroma on the retronasal. I feel it is clean, crisp but bland. Finish is medium, grassy and light ethanol notes persist. I did not smell nor taste any additives.

I have never recommended this tequila and I try to veer customers away when they ask about it, but I never tried it until a few days ago. My instincts were right. It has this weird laffy taffy nose with notes of anise, vanilla extract, and cotton candy/grape??? Flavor was roughly the same with an awful acetone and anise flavor and finish. I like some anise in my tequila but this was almost gin like. If this was under $50 I’d kinda get it, market it as a Cristalino or something. But at $280… what a joke! Just goes to show you the magic of marketing. Truly not even worth $40.

Bottle: Botella Numero 3488, Lote Numero 72, Fecha 09.08.22; Tasted at Disney’s Epcot La Cava Tequila Tasting Appearance: Clear Nose: Banana candy, reconstituted pineapple juice, fake fruit, vanilla, acetone, mint, faint cooked agave, medicinal, and alcohol…not intolerable, but very clearly manipulated Palate: Nondescript citrus, banana candy, tropical fruit, alcohol, vanilla, artificial sweetener, medicinal, licorice, and maybe faint cooked agave…not undrinkable, but an artificially viscous mouthfeel and a far departure from traditionally-made, additive free tequila Finish: Medium long, medicinal, and slightly acrid…rough finish to a “meh” experience Overall: In a margarita, this was inoffensive and didn’t stand out. As a sipper, it was completely lackluster with some off-putting nuances. Glad I tried it, but won’t be seeking out a repeat.

I was excited when a friend poured me a glass given the high price tag. I was surprised how bland and uninteresting this showed. Yes, it's very smooth but where's the deep agave flavor? I understand now when people say it smells "medicinal", reminds me of a band-aid.

Astringent Alcohol No agave flavor, is this vodka? Why would you want to drink this?

This tasted more like a clove-flavored vodka based nod to tequila. I would not call this tequila though.

I started getting into this brand because I liked the bottle and I thought the name was really cool, and I didn’t really know a lot about tequila. It was interesting for me to see a clear tequila that was for sipping because at the time I had understood blancos to be more geared towards mixing drinks, and reposados and anejos for sipping or for mixing drinks if your budget allowed. I didn’t give much thought to how it all worked, the process, or how anything was made. I remember tasting this, and thinking it was this explosion of flavors, it was good at the time. Now I revisit it and think it’s very sweet and tastes synthetic (crazy how that works) For the price, it’s a unique experience and balance of flavors, but now I laugh even more because it’s expensive no matter how you slice it, and something like Fuenteseca looks like a downright bargain in comparison! I remember comparing this to the Anejo and being glad I liked their anejo more because this is so much more expensive. The glasses that come with the gift set (which I don’t have) are beautiful and I wish I had them.

Smells better than tastes. Starts off hot and loud, then slowly mellows into a ever so slight smokey and finishes smooth. I would not order this again unfortunately.

Alcohol on the nose. Not very complex. Smooth.
