I’ve heard good thing about this tequila but disappointed me. Nose was okay but went down hill from there. The initial flavor is okay but gives way to a burn that reminds me of cheap tequila shots in college. Finish was alcohol and burn.

Older bottle blanco “1999” best blanco for its value.

Move nose, body is unspectacular and a surprise sweet twist on the end, I think this will appeal to the masses.

Nose: Minerals, a sense of salinity and late blooming baked agave. Flavor: Sweet agave and bread dough, with a pop of pepper. Finish leaves me thinking this isn’t terribly balanced, but it has a rustic tequila taste and I like the lingering pepper heat.

This is an older bottle, from 2005. Interesting nose, slightly floral/sweet, good agave, black tea, and cherries. Bold entry, peppery heat spreading across the tongue, hitting the cheeks with lemon and orange peel. Nice finish, spicy and long. Highly recommend the older bottling, a solid buy if you find one.

Smooth white pepper along with big bright agave right down the middle. Moderately long finish. Nice old school blanco and a great value.

Seems like a good value. A little fruity on the front with some fire on the back.

Fruit, herbs, agave. Very very very decent to sip on. Went from Ocho añejo to this when the Ocho ran out. Decent sweetness and finishes well.

Light agave, more alcohol flavour Not bad for an inexpensive well tequila

Some cooked agave, a little medicinal. Licorice and peppery. Finishes strong but underwhelming. Expected more coming from NOM 1103

Anissed and peppermint aroma. Great taste and what a finish. Smooth and enjoyable. Will drink again as it is now my new favourite blanco.

This stuff is similar to Arette Classic with the strong flowery, maraschino cherry flavor, but a bit more subtle and more enjoyable. It has a little bit of heat, but nothing too bad. I paid $16 for a 750ml bottle, which is a great value. It’s a lot better than basically anything else you’ll find under $25, as long as you don’t mind the flowery/cherry flavor.

Absolutely awesome tequila for the price. Sweet, but not over the top. Enough spiced flavor to keep you coming back for a daily drinker. Makes an excellent Tommy’s margarita!

cooked agave, citrus, wet grass, mineral, black ground pepper, somewhat herbal on the aroma. flavor carries over the aroma notes with maybe grapefruit coming through as the citrus component. mineral is still present. some spearmint is picked up on the back end. lacks depth. short finish even though the black ground pepper is a predominant flavor. for under $20, it is a reliable mixer, shots, rocks and emergency sipper. beats any diffuser made tequila. the great value is what put it at the 80 mark for me. UPDATE 06/07/2022: just had a bottle from 2021 and this has changed. Definitely has a slight cake batter aroma and flavor. I can no longer recommend this as a good budget mixer and my rating will be lowered

Good stuff. Agave, citrus, alcohol. Heavy minerality. Very aggressive old school rustic flavour. As previously said.... Firey on the back. You know damn well you are drinking tequila. Enjoyable and sippable. $50 ish CDN in Calgary, Alberta.
