Oak. Vanilla. Caramel. Black pepper

Tasted new bottle packaging. I really liked the balance of wood and aged cooked agave, after all that’s what we are paying for. At almost half the price of the 1800 Milenio I tried side by side with the Gran Centenario, I thought this was a much better value. It is column still and that means probably additives

Edited February 2, 2019 Lovely copper color with thick lágrimas. Nose: Any agave presence is pretty much obscured by the mature oak notes. A hint of floral. Some dusty undertones, with vanilla and ripe peaches. Flavor: Spicy barrel influence with white pepper, gives this a hot initial attack. There is some tannin bitterness with off setting vanilla. Finish: I’m just not finding any additional notes or nuances. Too much oak for me.

A gift from a friend, this older bottle is quite drinkable with richness closer to old school Reserva de la Familia than most current product from Cuervo.

Very oaky, more astringent than some of the others in the same space

Very smooth and sweet, a hint of spice and smoke on the finish.

Lot: L00118. Bottled on 19-01-2018. Color: light brown. Aroma: light cooked agave, mineral, citric orange peel, pungent sensation from bee honey, alcohol sensation is low, citrus, fresh. Palate: cooked agave, caramelizad orange peel, light black pepper, light cinnamon. Finish is medium, cooked agave with orange notes persists.

Toasted agave, oak, and a hint of mint on the nose. Oak, agave, and a hint of vanilla combine with rich caramel and toffee flavors. Notes of dried fruit in the lengthy, lingering aftertaste.

bottle is different but definitely the Leyenda.

If this one doesn’t convert a whiskey drinker I don’t know what would. Very nice aroma, very close to a whiskey. Perfect for sipping

I drink the Centanario Anejo as my regular tequila. I like the Cuervo Familia and found this at Ralphs on a trip to LaQuinta. She is pretty but not as luxurious as I expected. Lovely nose and first taste. Sort of bland finish. A surprising disappointment.

bottle has changed complex homemade Carmel wood balanced. excellent choice vault tequila. 28 a shot. best tequila I can afford

We have some sweet aromas, really inviting. The Taste is half full and semi oil base. The finish is a little rough for it's denomination. overall the value is a little high for the experience. but definitely worth to sip

Pleasant surprise! Clearly there's something to the barreling that brings out a quality that's far better than the anejo!

M&J. A little too much caramel for me both in the taste and finish. Nice nose alcohol, mint, vanilla, citrus.

Caramel and vanilla lovers dream! Aroma of vanilla with a vanilla caramel flavor and finish. Bottle has nice presentation.

Nose of oak, roasted agave, stone fruit and faint mint. Rich caramel and toffee flavors with oak, agave, and faint vanilla. Long lingering finish with hints of dried fruit.

Pretty good but there are better rating tequilas for the buck out there. It not my favorite. But that’s just my pallet

Sweet smell and sweet taste

Decent finish to this tequila. Complex flavor depth noted. Very pleasing to the nose.

Another good tequila that I enjoyed. Similar to the Arette tequila. Smooth but not sweet.

Brilliant stuff. Flavors of caramel, pepper, Wood, and agave. Good for whisky and brandy drinkers. Hard to find in the US
