NOM 1594 | 750ml., 40% abv., blue label round bottle with a flat cut shoulder. Lot LGARE0952, bottled on 02/08/23, tasted on 3-5-24. Color: light yellow. Aroma: light sweet cooked agave, light fruitiness, light acidity, light citrus, slightly herbal, light vanilla with light wood note. Hint of peach aroma. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, good sweet sour and citrus balance but ends a tad astringent, maybe from wood influence. A hint of soapy aroma through my retronasal. Finish is medium to medium long, light cooked agave, light citrus with a hint of earthy note persists.
NOM 1536 | A shockingly good tequila. Bought it at a local mercado on the cashier's recommendation. $30, so why not? Was blindsided by the incredible flavor profile and balance. Possibly the best reposado I've had, sir least certainly up there near the top. Would like to try the newer NOM stuff to compare.
