Aroma : Agave, alcohol, vanilla, cinnamon and oak . Nothing too complex here. Taste : Alcohol and agave with a fair amount of vanilla and oak. Again nothing too complex here. To me it seemed like the notes got "mixed" together or something of the like. It might have something to do with the oddly sweet nature of the vanilla notes. Finish : Finish is somewhat short with a bit of spice and alcohol, with some vanilla notes here as well. This is a pretty basic tequila. Not bad, but it's not something I would drink straight again. I'm sure it would go well in a margarita though.

This is a shot tequila for fun parties at a decent price, but falls short of a sipping tequila under my ratings

Still quite a bit of bitterness off the hop but the oak treatment seems to have weeded out the sweet agave I love so much! Warm butterscotch finish is nice but I’ll stick with the Blanco.

Nose: Bright agave, fruit and floral notes. Palate: Initially, semi viscous, pepper and sweet agave. Secondary spices, mint and trace almond emerge. Mexican 38%.

Sweet aroma, there is a slight burn on the finish. Definitely a good value tequila that can stand on its own.

This is definitely a good college tequila: is good for mixing, good for sipping, good for shooting down, and at a friendly price.

Agave and oak on nose. Agave and Caramel with hints of oak. But super mild still and smooth. Short finish.

The cask time helps the Blanco IMO. Oaky, not complex.

The bottle that got me started into tequila, lots of cooked agave and some sweet wood on the nose. Taste is smooth, sharp alcohol finish to remind you it's there which fades quickly into a lasting hint of vanilla and perhaps dried cherry.

For $27 bucks a bottle, it's my favorite repo for the price. very good agave/oak/vanilla taste but not too sweet. I like it better than the anjeo, smoother and less bite. I love 1942 but for the price I enjoy this bottle just as much. Such a bargain.

Smooth, and with a little more fruity in aroma. Approachable. Very delicious

aroma has agave and cinnamon which continues in the flavor, along with pepper, caramel, barrel spice. medium finish brings on some melon flavor. very good value

A decent mixer, but better value found in the blanco. Agave, oak, and pepper are prominent, with a fairly decent balance of of other flavors.

Very light agave on the nose. Hotter than expected on the finish. Excellent value.

Totally different beast than the Espolon Blanco, more notes of oak along with a bit more heat. Subtle is the name of the game here - vanilla and citrus and white pepper - none of which are overbearing. All around great flavor. Literally one of the best tequilas in its price category. Smooth while remaining flavorful, exactly what you want out of a reposado. Easily bests other tequilas that are double in price, like Casamigas Repo.

Not as good as the blanco. Too much heat on the finish, with little flavor.
