Despite the obstacles 2020 brought, sales of tequila have soared. To look at exactly how the industry changed in 2020, I asked a panel of tequila experts to weigh in.
This is a very nice and balanced tequila. Lots of agave and nice notes from the barrel aging. It doesn't have a earthy elements from 1079, but it has a nice agave flavor and has been very well crafted.
Tequila 1921 recently announced the addition of an añejo that is aged for one year in American oak barrels.
sweet aroma, some cooked agave, candied nuts, oak, bourbon notes. flavor hits with an unnatural sweetness that, while might be subtle and pleasing to some, it really stands out too much for me. some cooked agave, vanilla and oak. would not drink again, would not recommend (so zero points for those two criteria). too many additive free brands available
