TMM Blind tasting • Visual: Clear w/ thin clear edge • Initial Nasal Impact: Warming • Aroma: Black pepper, cooked agave, honey, coconut, grapefruit • Mouthfeel: Buttery w/ heavy alcohol • Flavor: Cooked agave, black pepper, coconut, honey, vegetal • Finish: Long with pepper dominating, coconut lingers on finish and retro nasal with dried pineapple Gets higher points due to budget friendly price

Some pearls floating in the glass for several minutes after pouring into the Glencairn. The nose has an herbal funk and this has some bitterness that persists through the finish and left my tongue prickly. Follow-up the next day of the remnants gives a very earthy nose.

Blind: Butterscotch nose (?) with some floral agave. Sweet agave and mineral taste. Nothing stands out but everything works well. Extra points for super value. Will have to revisit.
