Found this up in Tlaquepaque for $380 pesos. The bottle looks like an old fashioned vegetable oil bottle. Aromas: Complementary barrel oak, balanced barrel spices. Vanilla and allspice stand out. Lush, ripe fruit (peach and cherry) and some cellar notes. Flavor: Barrel spices and pepper mingle with the thick agave sweetness. Caramel makes an appearance. A lot of flavor packed into this 38% ABV Mexican offering.

When it comes to the aroma, you can right away smell the wood. I can smell the agave, some vanilla and caramel. I taste a little bit of pepper, vanilla and oak. Very easy to sip on, enjoyable.

Aroma: cooked agave with medium sweetness, a hint of vanilla, sweet agave fibers, slightly herbal, fruit sweetness, slight acidity. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, agave note is sweeter on the palate, creamy, buttery. Good sweet sour and acidic balance. Finish is medium to medium long, sweet cooked agave with light herbal, fruit sweetness and buttery sensation persists.
