Much like you'd expect for a 9 year, oak undoubtedly dominates this one. The profile is rich and robust throughout. On the palate, I got darker spices, like clove, cinnamon, and nutmeg. The finish brought back that familiar oak, along with some sweeter notes as well. Excellent XA!
