I don’t love it. Wine barrel is prominent on the finish
Nose: Oak, Dried Fruit, Plum,Herbal, Melon, Oregano Palate: Chocolate,Pepper, Citrus, Toffee Finish: Toffee, Oak, Pepper, Nutmeg
Had at a tasting event Quick notes Nose gave me wine barrel, cherry and sweet agave Taste : toffee, agave, cinnamon, orange peel and lots of oak. A warm baking spice finish This had too much barrel influence for my tastes but lends itself well as a dessert drink.
Nose : salt & clay earthiness with cooked agave. Got some funk to it almost like overripe fruit. Interesting. Taste : sweet plantain and jalapeño pepper. Agave, vanilla and oak. Finishes with that jalapeño spice lingering with creaminess of the plantain. Wasn’t impressed on first sip - but the more I’m sipping this the layers are deep and it’s really interesting. I want to visit this one again because I think there is even more to this one.
