Lot: LBE0202, bottled on 06\06\24, tasted on 3-15-25. Aroma: light cooked agave, light spiciness, herbal, mineral, light acidity, after 20 minutes in the glass the cooked agave note becomes a tad sweet. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, mineral and herbal notes are more intense on the palate, medium to thick mouthfeel. Finish is medium to medium long, light cooked agave with a hint of sweetness, hint of mineral and herbal notes persist.

Reminds me of Carerra, which comes from the same distillery. The aroma has a touch of light raw agave and the flavor follows through with a similar profile. The finish is bland and non descript. There’s no brightness to any aspect of this. There’s really no reason to purchase this even though it is not awful. (Snarky remark warning). This will probably end up at “Grocery Outlet” in a few months. Revisited this a month later. Dropped 3 points. The finish was the main culprit. I won’t be purchasing another bottle.

This one was underwhelming. And the fact that it was a 700ml bottle instead of a 750ml just seemed like one more way BevMo was trying to make an extra couple of cents from a “exclusive” brand. There are too many options under $30 to spend $37 on this again.
