Rough... the smell and taste are both pretty rough. Not for me.
After you palette changes you get to appreciate the good tequilas. This one is just too watery for me. It is sweet like bubble gum so that worries me. This might have some fake additives in it. Overall NEXT......
Tons of nutmeg & cinnamon, hot finish makes me think it might be good for mixing cocktails
Nose: Not a robust nose. Minerals and trace agave. A little perfume like. Flavor: Cinnamon, fruit and some bitter notes.
Mexican 40% abv. version, acquired on October 2020, marbete is from 2016, tasted on 11-27-23. Aroma: dark violet flowers, light briny raw agave, light minerality, aromas similar to distilled grain spirit. Palate: confirms aromas perceived but dissipated rather quickly, feel thin and watery on the palate. Finish is short to medium, hint of dark violet flowers with minerality and a hint of bitterness from alcohol persists but not too long.
Barely a one trick pony. Blah and sweet, with an off aftertaste.
