Tropical nose, with vanilla, caramel, banana and ripe agave. Flavor: Banana and vanilla carry through on the palate, with the addition of pepper bite, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg. Oak melds unobtrusively into the agave flavor.
Nose: Citrus, ripe raspberry, agave, cinnamon and earth. Flavor: Vanilla, caramel, black pepper, ripe fruit and traces of mint and anise.
NOM 1420 10/05/2009 date stamp. Quite a lot of alcohol in the aroma, with agave, celery, herbal and mint undertones. The nose dissipates rather quickly. Flavors of vanilla, agave, heavy black pepper and some bitterness. Not tasting the mint. Finishes with bitterness and burning pepper. Not many nuances, but the burn lingers at the back of my tongue and throat.
NOM 1420 dated 11/05/09
NOM 1420. I've had this bottle for a few years and the date stamp is 16/06/10. Some great minty agave on entry but as said in other notes, not much of a finish except for some mid tongue buzz from alcohol.
Agave forward with a minty aroma and flavor but no finish.
Great looking bottle, flavors and aromas of sweet cooked agave. A slight artificial vanilla flavor, suspect additives of some sort. Showed well through the finish.
