Nose: sweet cooked agave, lime, citrus, cooked pear, and anise Flavor: earthy, agave, light black pepper notes, sweetness of honey, and anise is in the background Finish: ice medium finish that starts sweet and ends with a nice spice I would use this tequila in my cooking. Would work with shrimp, butternut squash or eggplant
Casa Mexico This tequila is nice. It’s a solid blanco that sits right in the middle. It isn’t too sweet but it isn’t very complex either. This tequila can be a budget sipper and a solid mixer. Nose: Bright citrus, lime. Minerals and agave with a sweet note hiding in the back. Taste: Sweet agave, anise and pepper. Finish: The alcohol tingles on the pallet in a pleasant way. Nice pepper finish.
Stars are following in the footsteps of George Clooney's hit with Casamigos, and the spirit may not be better for it.
Nose does not match the taste at all. Suspect some additives in this. I get strong notes of molasses & vanilla.
