NOM 1465 Aroma is old-school vegetal with agave and a bit of black pepper. Full, rich mouthfeel with nice spice made up of black pepper and cinnamon. The finish is long and persistent. This is a great, traditional blanco tequila. 7/24/2015

Aroma and flavors of honey, oak and caramel. Medium body and finish. A simple and pleasant tequila in a very competitive price range.

Light touch on this. It's a pale color with the nose of a repo, but the flavor has agave balanced with nice caramel and vanilla. Surprising, really. The finish is mixed.

This blanco would be a 5 for value if not for a great sale. Has a lot of elements that I enjoy but seems heavy on the tip of tongue numbing. One note agave on the nose with some added alcohol when tipping the glass and nosing high. For the price it's OK but just that. Will let it sit for a bit in the bottle and revisit. Edit: Revisiting after quite some time and my palate has changed enough that I find this quite tasty.

Color: straw. Body: thin legs, mod tears. Aroma: alcohol, agave, oak, pepper. Flavor: oak, pepper. Mouthfeel: thin. Finish: oak and pepper. It's ok. Not remarkable. Probably better for mixing, but for this price, there are better options.

As Mexico Capitalizes On Her Image, Has Frida Kahlo Become Over-Commercialized?

The Frida Kahlo Corporation says it bought the rights to Frida's image in 2005 from the painter's niece, Isolda Pinedo Kahlo, who then became one of its owners until her death in 2007. It has since sold Frida's image far and wide, even launching a high-en
