Mexican 38% abv. versión, marbete is from 2008. Color: very light yellow. Aroma: at the beginning it is very peppery, but after 15 minutes it is smoother, intense cooked agave, slightly acidic, just a touch of vanilla, herbaceous, feels thick & oily. Palate: cooked agave, herbaceous, light black pepper, good sweet & sour balance, a touch of vanilla. Ends slightly acidic. Finish is medium to long, cooked agave, light vanilla & herbaceous notes persist.
The bottle was beautiful but I feel that what you would pay for. Slight aroma of grass and agave on the nose. Bell pepper, anise and lemon with a watery complexity. Finish was like wet cement and artificial sweetener.
