Another novelty bottle which is about the only type this brand releases. A 200ml mini pig yet this was an alright reposado even if nothing really stands out. Agave on the palate, some slight oak and barrel spice on the nose with a neutral to slightly sweet finish.
From a novelty bottle shaped like a ceramic horse, this Añejo is more bourbon than Tequila. Nothing offensive going on here but the whiskey dominates the palate. A light mouth feel makes this easy to drink with caramel, some light vanilla, barrel spice of cinnamon and oak. Finish is a center of tongue thing with some light ethanol and a bit of natural sweetness.
Pretty good for a $60 a liter XA. Lots of barrel spice and agave sweetness that finishes a little harsh from some alcohol.
Still sweet. Much more balanced than Anejo and repo
A nice balance of agave and sweetness this bottle looks more like the Añejo and XA pictures in the app though with a cobalt blue metal label than what is shown here for Blanco. This is quite easy to sip and generally a cheap buy in N. CA.
