Lots of alcohol, agave, spices, and oak wood from aroma thru palate to finish. Cool bottle, but not a great price for the juice.
Ticks all the appropriate boxes but no fireworks for me, doesn’t dive deep into the flavours that I’m liking for. Pretty easy going on the back end, this won’t drive people away from the category.
Interesting bottle, a point of conversation. Aroma: cream soda, caramel, butterscotch, vanilla, cherry, alcohol, brine, green tea, nutmeg and spices. Flavor: caramel, vanilla, cream soda, butter, agave, green tea, chocolate and pineapple, citrus and honey. Finish is alcohol heat, caramel and vanilla with long taste. $8 neat at Picante Rest.
Neat at Picante $18. Bottle is unique and funny looking. Aroma full of cream, vanilla, oak, molasses, agave. Palate is full of cream, molasses and agave with no alcohol present.
Hints of agave, then caramel and butterscotch on the nose, some brown sugar. A bit of pepper, hot and short mouth feel, not very complex.
Rated blind. Better than I expected, but not really my style of tequila.
