Some agave sweetness and a fizzy element that lingers on the sides of the tongue. Interesting
The tahona crushed agaves brings an incredible minerality to this tequila. It’s complex yet approachable for any palate. At the price point, it will be the next Fortaleza.
Doce Casas Blanco Certified Organic & Additive-free Single-Estate NOM 1634 This is a tequila born from the stars - celestial stars that is! This is not a celebrity tequila. In full disclosure, this bottle was gifted to me from Valerie Saucedo, owner Doce Casas Tasting Notes: (I let it sit 30 mins to open) Nose: is complex. Keeps u going in for more. Yeast/beer, something very unique here. Can't quite identify it. Vegetal brine pepper grass agave fruit floral. Palate: some cooked agave, sweet but not too sweet. Not as vegetal/yeasty as the nose. Not as complex as the nose. Fizzy mouthfeel, a little funk/cheese but not too much Finish: first sip was long with heat loved it. Next few sips finish weren't as a long Overall: I enjoyed this. It's a good sipper. The nose makes u want to go back for more. My husband said this is a sniffer tequila for sure (whatever that means LOL) Rating is based on average value because I don't know the cost
Aroma is vegetal, herbal, and mineral—of the earth. Flavor isn’t as green as the aroma, here I pick up very sweet agave, brine, and white pepper. It combines as a unique profile. This has a creamy mouth with long legs clinging to the glass. The bottle packaging is top notch too! My first glass the earthy aromas didn’t land as good as the flavor, but now that I’m returning to it and feel it has opened up a bit—I’m raising my score.
Heavy vegetal nose, sweet on the very beginning but switches to brine on the finish. Not my profile but a decent product
Tasted in Chisholm Trail Glass Aroma: Vegetal, Raw Agave, Herbal, Grassy, Cooked Agave, Cinnamon, Earthy, Citrus, Mineral, Fruit, Celery Taste: Muted Agave notes, but sweet, Vegetal, Grassy, Cinnamon, Citrus both fresh and Peel, Minerals Olive and Briny, Celery and Fruity.
This was a sample from Christine H (Tequila Diva). Anise, pepper, agave, and maybe some yeast on the nose. On the better side of good. Flavor isn’t bad. Very easy to drink but nothing is really jumping out flavor wise. Light agave, vegetal, minerals. pretty thin feel. Props on a very easy sipper. The finish is light, not as much bite as I like. I like my tequila to remind me to be careful. I could drink this way too quickly just trying to define it. Not sure how much it goes for but I like their concept and would recommend this to someone who’s been done wrong in the past and needs an easy going re-entry into Tequila.
