38% Mx. release Nose: Cinnamon, spearmint and minerals. A touch of vanilla and yeasty bread dough. Flavors: Mazapán with pepper punctuations. Background spiciness and some fruit (pear?). Nice mouth feel. A hint of sulfur, but not to a fault. A nice middle of the road, economy Blanco that I would love to see with more agave punch, and maybe at a higher ABV.
Mexican release @ 38%. 2007 Tax stamp. Nose: Dynamic aromas. Deep sweet agave, playing nicely with cherry, vanilla, floral and spice notes. The aroma of weathered cedar planks. Flavor: Pepper and barrel spice, oak and almond sweetness, make for a rich and bold impression. I found this “Dusty” at Nuestros Dulces for mere pesos.
Some fruit, fresh herbal notes and pepper. Would like a bit more cooked agave here. Tasted the new batch recently and there's some slight vanilla, a little bit alcoholic for a 38% but definitely and improvement from the first batch I tasted.

Profile is bitter and metallic, lacks complexity and flavors of raw agave and herbaceous
