Aroma of cooked agave, fruit, mineral, pepper. Mouthfeel is a little thin with generous alcohol. Drinks a bit hotter. Flavor: Mineral, cooked agave, cinnamon, pepper, vegetal, olive, earth. Finish: long with mineral, agave and vegetal notes.
Definitely preferred this over the regular proof blanco. Lots of minerality, hints of wet stone, bright citrus and cooked agave. A tasty finish that keeps you coming back for more. This is a really solid high proof blanco.
On the nose I got some floral notes with a hint of white pepper and lemon zest The palette had similar notes with a touch of sweetness and anise. Not overly complex. Finish is crisp and easy
Nose: The first thing that hits you is cooked agave. It’s paired with a touch of minerality, which adds a refreshing edge. There’s also a slight hint of pine in the background, giving it a subtle, earthy character that makes the nose intriguing. Palate: On the palate, the citrus shines through. It’s bright and zesty, lifting the tequila’s natural sweetness. Anise adds a gentle, herbal note that blends well with the vanilla. The sweetness from the agave is prominent, but not overpowering. Mouthfeel: The mouthfeel is light and smooth. It’s not too heavy, so it’s easy to sip and enjoy without feeling overwhelmed. Finish: The finish is light and clean, with notes of vanilla and a whisper of minerality. It’s not overly long. Overall, it’s a decent pour that I’d enjoy again given the chance.
Entremanos Sample from Bill Durnbaugh Nose: yeast and minerality, some notes of agave Palate: sweet agave with pepper Finish; nice with lingering sweetness and pepper
