Amber with long slow legs. Nose starts with oak, moves on to agave, pineapple, vanilla and cream soda. Flavors start with a bittersweet tingly element that I can’t quite pinpoint. Moves on to oak, black pepper and butterscotch. Paid $251 pesos ($16 US).
Neck is smaller than the photo on TMM, big wooden stopper with a thin cork, 38% abv., no marbete, tasted on 3-17-24. Color: yellow to light yellow. Aroma: light sweet cooked agave, light fruitiness, light citrus, light acidity, hint of earthiness. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, earthier on the palate, good sweet sour and citrus balance. Finish is medium to medium long, light sweet cooked agave with light fruity note and a hint of earthiness persists.
