Mexican 40% abv. versión, lote: L2105001, bottled on 15-08-2023, tasted on 2-27-24. Aroma: light sweet cooked agave, light acidity, hint of brine, green vegetal note, slightly herbaceous, agave fibers, mineral, after 20 minutes in the glass the agave note becomes sweeter and a light floral note emerges. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, good sweet sour and acidic balance. Finish is medium to medium long, hint of sweet agave, green vegetal note, light herbaceousness and agave fiber aromas persist.
A reposado from Michoacan. Light amber color in the glass. Aroma of oak and agave. Flavor of agave and an interesting hint of brandy. Not sure if this is still aged in Mexican brandy barrels. Medium finish. Cool bottle design.
