I can smell the cooked agave, sweet oak and a floral note. I then taste agave, toasted oak, caramel, spicy vanilla and some smoke in the midpalate. The finish is nice. There is pepper and a viscous mouthfeel which helps the finish to slightly linger. Overall the Anejo is the most complex of the 3 expressions. It’s complex but nowhere close to overwhelming. Well done Insólito! Salud!

I smell sweet cooked agave, vanilla and a perfume floral note. I taste the agave and then a peppery white oak. The finish is nice and peppery with some sweetness mixed in but mostly peppery. Overall this tequila is a pleasant sipper.

INSÓLITO Blanco The nose is light and clean. I get notes of agave, citrus, floral, salt / brine and a hint of sweetness. I taste the agave and then some green pepper, minerals and a hint of buttercream sweetness. There is a light mouthfeel and a clean finish with no alcohol burn.
