NOM 1460. Medium amber, nice legs. Nose: Citrus, citrus rind, minerals, light oak and vanilla with some floral notes. Flavor: Agave still shines through in this añejo. There is nice fruitiness, pepper, nuts and anise. Finish: Longish with white pepper, sweet agave, and brown barrel spices. I found this on a dusty back shelf with a tax tag from 2011 for $299 pesos. ($15US)
Tasted in Querétaro, Mexico. Nutty aroma with caramel, wood a touch of citrus. All these are present in the flavor profile with the addition of black pepper. The flavors are bold and compliment each other surprisingly well. Great lingering finish.
Fake fruit- apple or pear? Probably diffuser. Additive burn.
