Smoke, licorice, and cooked agave in the aroma, flavor, and finish. It isn’t too sweet, even though it smells like it could be. Good stuff!
Smells and tastes like a mezcal! Agave and slight bandaid nose, sweet agave flavor and light smoky finish.
Nose: Very intriguing nose. Strong tropical fruit notes, citrus, vanilla and spiciness. Smokiness and a slight medicinal aroma that fades (maybe eucalyptus?) Minerals and earthiness comes on fairly strong, but fades as well, leaving the smoky notes to emerge again. Very unique. Flavor is somewhat incongruous to the aromas. It is rather flat in comparison, with medium pepper, light bitterness and a thin mouth feel, possessing some sweet undercurrents. The smoky, medicinal notes remain constant throughout.
