Aroma: light sweet cooked agave, light fruitiness, light acidity, hint of earthiness, hint of citrus. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, good sweet sour and citrus balance, thick mouthfeel. Finish is medium to medium long, light sweet cooked agave with light fruitiness, hint of citrus and light earthy notes persist.

Mexican 35% abv. version, marbete is from 1999, tasted on 12-23-23. Color: light yellow in the glass and with a hint olive green in the bottle. Aroma: light sweet cooked agave with light aromatic herbs, a hint of fruit sweetness, slightly earthy, light citrus, light orange peel. It is quite aromatic but subtle. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, agave sweetness and black pepper are more pronounced on the palate. Slightly minty. Finish is medium, a hint of cooked agave, citrus, fruity and earthy notes persist.
