Nose: Baking spices, oak shavings, ripe dark fruit, grapefruit and a late appearance of allspice. Flavors: Fairly oily with caramel and vanilla. Black pepper and a teensy bitter note. Thick and sweet, laden with barrel spice and agave. Not a barn burner in the complexity department - but a heck of a bargain tequila! Currently $200 pesos.
Aromas are not real robust - you have to do a little digging here... But there is some spiciness and barn-like mud and hay. I’m also picking up on some minerals. Flavor: Punchy pepper, hot cinnamon candies and thick on the tongue sweetness. Finishes with some bitterness. Good value tequila.
