I am a little disappointed with this one. The taste is fine: agave, vanilla and a fair amount of black pepper. The initial nose is a bit off-putting, with sort of a plastic-y bandaid scent. The long finish continues the tasting notes, with an emphasis on black pepper. I guess it’s basically a solid budget reposado at a great price (purchased at a grocery store in Mexico).

Mexican version is 38%. Clear in the glass without oily legs. Aroma of cooked agave and citrus. Flavor of agave and black pepper. Medium-long finish.
