Wouldn’t consider this a tequila, its a pomegranate liqueur... Represents pomegranate really well acidic, tart and sweet/floral. Versatile to mix or sip Will see how it goes with some Holiday mixology recipes.
Went to my local Mexican grocery store and look what i found ! I did Not expect this taste. Hooked.
I’m not sure why I am rating this, it’s not a tequila. It’s got tequila in it, so I’ll rate it. I like pomegranate so that is really how I rated this like I did. You can make a decent mixed drink with this stuff. I added some ocho reposado with this over ice and it was tasty.
Ripe fruit aroma, very slight agave aroma. Super sweet fruity flavor similar to cranberry cocktail. No noticeable agave flavor. I don’t hate it, but probably wouldn’t buy or recommend. $1.99 for 50ml worth a try.
Really nice on the palate and a great way to introduce a sweet wine drinker into agave spirits. The infusion Clase Azul carries enough agave flavor the consumer to get agave on the palate. On the nose I noticed agave, tart, fruit. On the palate it was light in intensity and texture with agave, pomegranate, and cherry. Finish was short and simple
