Peppery and spicy nose but soft and beautiful to sip! Never before as a lady have I liked Tequila, it always burns when it goes down but villa lobos is soft and aromatic and leaves a beautiful taste in your mouth. My friends also prepared some really nice tasting Paloma's and we had an awesome day sipping this tequila by the pool in Mexico. Definitely Recommended!

Very light and dare I say... dainty. Not really my jam but would surely recommend to someone just dipping their toes in the tequila water.

Smooth. Drank it w/ just 2 small ice cubes from filtered water. Nice spice aroma and taste. Good finish

I love La Alteña and everything Carlos produces. This is a well rounded reposado with flavors and aromas of anise up front, giving way to cake batter, yellow raisins, agave and mint. Think liquified fruitcake.
