Lots of oak on the nose, underlined with a wet stone, cherry and cooked agave, very slight vanilla. Entry reveals very light pepper but transitions quickly with a sweet wood/cherry, but still present throughout the finish. Finish continues with pepper and almonds in the back of the palate. Nice lasting finish.

Absolutely delicious expression of extra Anejo. Wonderful buttery oak nose with a bit of vanilla caramel to round it out. Easily sippable - not too sweet with just a little burn and no bitterness. Nice long finish that leaves one satisfied and interested. One of my new favorite expressions. I'm ready to sample the rest of the Villa Lobos line.

Very smooth as an XA should be. Subtle but acceptable smokiness. Finish is smooth but spicy.
