Get right with Jesus ....at way below retail.....
Old IPN import bottle. Soft caramel and agave along with some barrel spice make this a pleasant if unspectacular sip.
Tasted a bottle from 20+ years ago. Wasn't NOM1507, I believe it was 1423? Aroma: Very Sweet Agave, some Oak and Vanilla left. And nice Cinnamon. Taste: Sweet Agave, Cinnamon, Oak, Vanilla, Vegetal, Minerally. For a bottle that had been open for several years, it still had nice flavor.
NOM-856, Mexican 38% ALC/VOL a 20° C, 1000 ML. with red plastic twist cap with a fun stopper version. "Destilado, envasado y distribuido por: J. Jesus Reyes Cortes, Tel. (91-374) 2-04-47. R.F.C. RECJ 400402 C93. No lot code nor marbete, looks like a 90’s bottling, tasted on 5-24-24. Color: very light yellow. Aroma: light cooked agave with a hint of sweetness, light white pepper, light earthiness, light acidity, hint of citrus. Palate: confirms aromas perceived but flavors are quite subtle thus alcohol sensation is medium high. Finish is short to medium, hint of cooked agave, light earthiness, hint of citrus with a hint of pepper spiciness persists but not too long.
