This was made at NOM 1499, Casa Tequilera de Arandas
100% Weber Blue Agave
They use a hodgepodge of used white oak for aging—bourbon, whiskey, cognac, wine—for 6-24 months. Presumably, a crafted blend?
Certified Organic by Bioagricert S.R.L.
Purchased at Old Town Liquor & Deli
Tasted after aeration. Nose at top of glass of alcohol and agave with slight vanilla undertones. Nose at bottom of cooked agave and spice. Not much flavor to speak of—very mellow. Decent pepper on the finish, not remarkable.
I'd rather spend my $60 on Fortaleza.
