Aroma of cooked agave and citrus. Flavor a bit bland of cooked agave. Finish almost non-existent.
Recent bottle from NOM 1548. Roast agave, minerals, pepper and some natural sweetness make this an easy but not spectacular sip. 1079 juice is legendary.
Apparently all we needed was TONS of oak to coax a decent score out of me. This is a butterscotch bomb, absolutely zero agave left but nice in its own way. I’m really not a fan of this lineup, it’s just not exceptional in any way.
Super average......there ain’t enough agave left for me to like this and not enough barrel personality to overcome this. Steer clear, especially for the price.
It’s amazing how far a little oak will go, the nasty finish of the Blanco has been replaced by a rich vanilla flavour that goes for days. Still doesn’t taste like legit tequila.
Smells like roasted agave, tastes like minty toe nail paint remover. Not a nice aftertaste, bring a chaser.
This was an ok XA but what made me buy it the most was that it had the wrong price posted and they sold it to me at that price. The smell came in with a little bit of heat but pleasant after a minute. In the taste a lot of oak from the barrel In the finish it went down without burn
