Well, it's not horrible as you might expect from a brand that has bounced around and is imported by McCormicks...bought this as a consolation prize at the local Tribal store after heading there looking for something entirely different. Somewhat bitter on entry but it has a more or less natural mouth feel and no weird aftertaste. Not a timid sip in any case with some bold ethanol and green agave. Cocktail material I think is this bottles ultimate fate. Lot CBN 391 01/20/2021
Great off the nose, peppery roasted agave. Complete rocket fuel, my tongue is still tingling from all the alcohol! Spicy, long finish.
Aroma: vanilla, agave and alcohol trend to medicinal smell. Palate: sugar and agave mixed with herbal, grass and vegetal. Finish: very sweet, mint, and agave.
NOM 1489- Horrible aroma with oak, vanilla, pine sol, which is noticeable most of the time in diffuser junk, mint. The taste is the same, it's thin, it's overly sweet, filled with sn artifical pine sol, mint, vanilla oak taste. Absolutely horrible... I would never recommend this in any way.
Although is aged in bourbon barrels the flavor was not there. NOM 1489, neat at Casa Tequila $14. Aroma is light in vanilla and spices. Palate is thin without agave or oak flavors. Great package but not much more going on.
Straight up smells like toothpaste, everything from there on in is agave. Nice and delicate on the tongue, it doesn’t have that fake chocolate flavour that you get with cristalinos. Medium, gentle finish, I expect I could have 6 of these before I knew I’d had one!!
