Aroma: hint of sweet cooked agave, sweet sour and citrus balance, mineral & earthy. Quite subtle. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, light citrus & earthy note. Finish is short, a hint of sweet cooked agave, subtle balanced sweet sour and citrus notes persist for a short time.
Marbete is from 2011, 750ml., 38% abv. Color: light yellow. Aroma: sweet cooked agave! Light stone fruit sweetness, light mandarin, light black pepper, good sweet sour and citrus balance. Palate: confirms aromas perceived, ends slightly citric, very well rounded. Finish is medium to medium long, light sweet cooked agave with good sweet sour and citrus balance persists.
Great taste and smooth tasting finish. No bite. Great Agave smell to this Zapata Tequila. Good for sipping or mixing. EVERYONE MUST TRY IT!
