Excellent blanco from a legendary producer. Really enjoyed this one
Nose: Agave, green olive, salt, minerals, cement, mint and lime rind Palate: Cooked agave, stone (tahona notes), mint and is a bit spicy (jalapeño). Delicious! Finish: Some nice heat with black pepper that heats up the gums nicely. Tried it against the 48 abv Gallo version and I liked this one more!
Beautiful agave nose. You can smell it pouring it into the glass. Palate is a bit quick and the finish has a slightly bitter but long pepper finish. I definitely enjoy the finish on this. This is nice
Not overly complex, but extremely satisfying blanco with cooked agave, black pepper, and a slight sweetness on the finish with a little anise. Can’t go wrong with 7L.
Truly top tier blanco, to my taste it is better than the 7 decadas. It has more green flavors compared to regular siete leguas but the agave and minerality is amped. For beginners the proof may seem a bit harsh at the beginning compared to other tequilas but it is easy to get your palate used to it.
Aroma: 23 Sweet cool cooked agave with a vegetal punch. Grassy, green, olive with black pepper spice and cinnamon. Mild fruity undertones of dried cherry and strawberry. Palate: 27 Very nice silky texture and mouth feel. Front palate is very sweet layer agave and vanilla. Smoothly blends into pepper spice in the mid. Fruity spice with a kick at the tail end. Finish: 23 Finish is long and generally pleasant. Lots of pepper spice with mild fruity in the background. Is a little hot at first and then turns into a pleasant warming feeling. Value: 6 $82 bottle in San Francisco. Fantastic quality. $82 is a bit higher than I expected and would like but I will get another bottle when I finish my current one.
Wow this one has a lot going on. This is such an easy sipper for a still strength with bold aromas and flavors. Nose: cooked agave, earth, grass, black pepper, citrus, cinnamon, vegetal, and some brine. Palate: cooked agave, black pepper, cinnamon, citrus, vegetal, and brine. Such a great sipper that has a nice finish that lingers of cinnamon and brine. No burn at all. Extra points for the price point.
Tasted at Siete Leagus. Same base as standard 7L but Still Strength The nose I can smell the fibers. A little astringent on the nose. Alcohol On the palate this is very nice. Sweet agave, cinnamon, buttery Good finish
Powerful and Priced incredibly!
Adjusting my rating upward a little after my 2nd try. I’m loving it! Loads of agave, minerality, some mint, anise and pepper. I do believe this may be my favorite Siete Leguas expression ever! I'm absolutely loving it!
Vessel: Glencairn Nose: Grass, Mint, Anise, Minerality, Citrus Palate: Earthy, Pepper, Grass Finish: Orange, Stonefruit, Agave This definitely kicks the standard agave up a notch. I got less of the minerality than the original has but more citrus and vegetal notes throughout. Glad to see Siete Leguas bless us with this fine new addition to the line up!
Nice to see this at a most reasonable price. Agave, earth, a ton of natural sweetness and so easy to sip. I find something new each time I taste this 7L 47 Blanco. This to me, is likely the best Blanco NOM 1120 has ever released and for me that says something as the brand is older than I am, barely.
Wow, really nice. Opened and poured three glasses, as I was enjoying it that much! Cooked agave, earthiness, minerals, cut grass and some fruitiness on nose and palate. Does not taste like a 47!
Nose: Cooked agave, minerals, lime, orange peel Flavor: Cooked agave, tons of citrus (mostly orange, I think), vegetal, black pepper Finish: Lingering orange peel and black pepper.
Classic Siete Leguas pepper, minerals, slight lemon. This earns a permanent spot in my collection.
I’ve been waiting on this highly acclaimed bottle for quite some time. Definitely lived up to the hype.
Agave, pepper, minerals. Nice heated finish. I approve!
This is tasty! On the nose: Cooked agave with peppery notes balancing one another. Backend aromas of herbs, minerals, with rich earth tones and faint grass. There’s a slight whiff brine. On the palate: That peppery spice smacks you in the face, but not in a bad way. This does not drink like an overproof blanco. If anything, the added proof enhances the flavors. Rich agave flavors like sugar in the mouthfeel. The salty brine brings out the richness of the agave. Nice and silky feel. On the finish: Nice peppery finish leaves a nice flavor that sets up your next sip. The crispness sticks around on the palate and feels light. At $60, you can’t beat this blanco. Had a $5 off coupon that made it all the more better. Worth the money.
Super nice tear adhesion. This smells super sweet, really herbal, kind of in between the 7 décadas and the normal blanco. Quite lactic and mineral, some black pepper. Some floral notes, maybe lavander. Taste is quite strong, it makes it kind of hard to notice the nuances perceived in aroma. Sweet, herbal, spicy like black pepper. It’s not bad, but I hoped for something else, something more.
Nose : Agave bomb , terroir , minerality , subtle sweetness Taste: starts off very sweet and floral , goes into a dirt/minerality terroir and agave bomb finish . Great price at $47 amazing traditional well made still strength .
Another great addition to the Siete Leguas line. Nose is very agave forward with some herbal and minerality notes. Taste is loaded with agave and earthy. Not overly complex but such an easy sipper.
On the nose I get a TON of sweet cooked agave, a little minerality, and a hint of buttered popcorn. The palate is an agave bomb, white pepper, fresh green herbs, and citrus and a hint of tropical fruit with some anise and nice salinity on the end.
Aromas de agave, frutas, cítricos el paladar es parecido a frutas , agave un poco de pimienta y al bajar es bien suave y picoso

Tasted blind at Dustin’s Fuerte Fiesta! I will revisit when I have more time to spend with it. Very good all around but a bit one dimensional for me. Yes lots of agave and some nice heat.
