sample from Mark Czerwonka nose is nice - brown sugar honey tropical notes/banana baking spice with slight malolactic/butter palate is a little subdued but opens a bit. barrell spices cinnamon anise with a tiny bit of spice/pepper on the finish overall, it's a nice, easy sipper price $70-80 is a little high for a repo, but it does come in a beautiful bottle

In my personal opinion the blanco has a lot more character I feel like the barrel took away from the robust agave flavors that I got. I mean it’s not bad but I can tell you it is buttery smooth and simple on the side of complexity. This would be a 1942 killer for those average consumers you want something that will go down easy.

Very earthy, cloves, baking spices, oak-y for Reposado.

Best way to describe this is a muted version of their Blanco. The malo-lactic funk on the nose is much less prominent. The mouthfeel is silky but not so much as to be noteworthy. Agave-forward with a hint of vanilla on the palate. A medium-quick finish - overall less pronounced than the Blanco.
