Very nice agave and minerality forward with taste of orange zest, honey, and slight anise throughout
Don Vicente Blanco Fuerte is an exceptional tequila that showcases bold character and depth. I had the privilege of being part of the process alongside Ing. Felipe Camarena and the brand owners, and it’s incredibly rewarding to see this profile come to life after months of work. This tequila is unapologetically vibrant, with a robust agave-forward flavor complemented by earthy undertones and a touch of spice. The balance between its intensity and smooth finish highlights the craftsmanship behind it. As a 2024 release, Blanco Fuerte stands out as a testament to the dedication and expertise of everyone involved.
Nose is agave, minty, floral, some citrus, very bright & refreshing, some honey, brown sugar notes also, very nice, pallet is exact same notes to me, citrus, sweet like key likes almost, some butter cream, black pepper, very nice balance of sweet savory and spicy in here, great tequila
$80 in San Francisco Make sure to let this breath and open up. My favorite short cut is using a cheap handheld milk frother. Aroma: 22 Pending review. Palate: 28 Medium density mouth feel and body. Starts off with an ethanol burn but fades quickly. The more it opens up and your palate adjusts, the sweeter this pour evolves into. Really dense rich fruity sweetness. Finish: 23 Good heft and longevity. Mild spice burn with fruit sweetness. Value: 7 $80 is not cheap but this is a really tasty pour. I love this pour!
Incredible balance of cooked agave, pepper, Minerality, citrus. Amazing how easy drinking this is at 108 proof. Another magic trick from Felipe.
Great feel in the mouth. Earth and vegetal with excellent minerality. I really like this one. At 108 you do get a fair amount of alcohol though.
This one smells and tastes great! It’s got loads of sweet agave, minerality, and earthiness with a creamy mouthfeel and a nice spicy finish.
Beautiful blanco. Layers of minerality with lush creaminess. The flavors keep opening up as it sits in the glass. A really nice still strength.
This still Strength is amazing, sweet, spicy, cinnamon, citrus, very light heat on the finish. So balanced, so delicious 6,600 bottles produced.
This differentiates itself from the G4 108 (rain and spring water) and the Volans (well and spring water) by being a blend of wood vat fermentation and stainless steel fermentation, some of which was done with fiber added. Using deep well water this has aromas and tones reminiscent of Terralta 110.
this is one of the best high-proof blancos. Let it sit and open at least 20 mins, preferably 30. u will get more complexity as it evolves nose = agave, pepper, minerality grapefruit, grass, anise, the longer it sits, the more anise comes thru palate sweet agave, honey, anise, pepper finish is warm and sweet with honey and pepper on the end with a great mouthfeel great viscosity overall, this is an absolutely delicious complex and well-balanced tequila that evolves as it opens introducing more flavora.
Nose: Agave,Tropical Fruit, Minerality, Herbal, Mint, Citrus (lime), Anise Mouthfeel: Light-Bodied Palate: Alcohol, Anise, Earth, Jalapeno, Black Pepper Finish: Jalapeno, Black Pepper, Grass, Mint Killer nose, lots of tropical and vegetal notes. Some extra heat but not too much. Agave and minerality all the way through as well. I got to try a version of this in tge past early January and I recall it being a little less earthy than this final product. Still, another great one from El Pandillio.
Nose: sweet agave cooked / vanilla/ earth / mineral/ pepper / orange peel/ salt Taste: sweet agave cooked / pepper/ minerals/ earth / anise / apple / citrus / orange peel / baking spices / salt / alcohol Finish: very low almost watery wet viscosity / lingering pepper, mineral, anise / alcohol definitely present through the whole taste through to the finish This high proof blanco (54%abv) is lighter on flavor than expected for that high abv, but the nose and taste are quite good. The flavors other than pepper/earth are not strong, but they taste good.
I like the bubbles on the pour. I’m loving the nose. It’s fresh. There’s some nice minerality and petrichor with some underlying herbs. The cooked agave is present along with a hint of jalapeño and green apples. Wow this one is packed with some dense but balanced flavors. The cooked agave is buttery but bright and it provides some natural sweetness. The proof keeps it from feeling heavy and it provides some excellent mouthfeel with some tongue tingling capsaicins. It’s spicy and oily. The minerality is very pleasant and there’s some subtle herbal notes and salinity. This one is a treat. It’ll come down to your personal preferences but this one hits a lot of checkboxes for me.
Agave nose with brine. Creamy palate with some heat on the finish. Not a favorite profile for me but it’s a solid product. After opening, it’s nice. I’m liking it
Nose: Minerals, ripe agave w/ acidity. Apple, caramel, pineapple. Cinnamon and baking spices. Warm agave notes. Visible viscosity. Cherry, juicy fruit gum, citrus, green apple Rich aroma. Flavors: Caramel toffee note. Give it time to open, then blooms with some salinity. Good viscosity and body. Minty. Green peppercorn & black pepper. A graham cracker nuance. Anise toward the backend. Creamy, silky excellent palate feel.
Has that 1579 nose. Sweet agave and earthiness along with mineralality. I get citrus such as lime. I get a touch of cinnamon. Very clean and crisp. On the palate, great burst of agave. Olive brine, Minty. Citrus and black pepper. I get the earthy tastes and vegetal notes. Beautiful finish that lingers throughout the mouth. A bit of alcohol on the backend which I expect from a 108. Great job here. Highly recommended.
Strong agave and mineral aroma. Strong agave flavor. Spicy and sweet finish that lingers.
crisp, clean roasted agave nose. citrus and malolactic essence. smooth and soft minerals coming in first, then comes the agave. very rich and supple. creamy for sure.
This is so good! Incredible nose, very green/vegetal with hints of celery and honey. Amazing flavor of cinnamon, orange peel, pepper and cooked agave sweetness. Long finish with some heat from the 108 proof. Another masterpiece out of 1579!

Amazing nose, make sure to use a wide glass to let it rest appropriately! After 10-15min, it really opens up! Strong raw agave punches the nose, followed by citrus, lime, light fruity, minty, earthy and anise! Palate: Very similar, but with the added heat! The burn gradually declines after about a min thirty. Medium complexity and great mouth feel! Finish: medium short, warm! Agave and citrus lingers. Overall, fantastic high proof blanco! If you don’t like it after the fresh crack, warm up the palate, let it breathe and get back for another try! It will be better! It’s not miles ahead of the G4 high proof, so if strapped for cash, get that instead! There’s a lot of similarities! Bought in San Antonio for $81
Nose and Taste is a nice balance of Cooked agave, mineral, pepper and earthy. The glass was a Chisholm High Proof Jarrito.

Lots to love here. Aroma and flavor of cooked agave, earth, and cinnamon. This is what tequila is supposed to be like! Love the high proof boost that is the source of the long cinnamon finish. This is great stuff.
